My career as a visual artist and musician now spans a good 45 years. Self-taught as an artist, but extensively educated, imaginative and inquisitive. That's how I would describe myself. "a creative life, through and through..." Ever since I was young I have always had a great interest in art in its many forms. My parents were very ambitious art collectors. To act autodidactically, to learn things by myself, to be creative in the actual sense, that's exactly my thing... I now live and work in the Netherlands. In my paintings and sculptures I try to create expressive images of people, mythical creatures and sceneries. Armed with sometimes expressive brushstrokes, spatulas or even toilet rolls, I try to reduce to the essential features and abstract. I focus on light and color. As in my music, I want to inspire the viewer or the listener and encourage them to accompany me on my journey.

Born in Cologne (Germany) in 1964
1970 -1980 School, first steps in painting, learned various instruments, first band experiences.
1981 Apprenticeship as communications equipment mechanic and radio electronics technician, extended interests in music.
1982/83 community service, first contact with experimental film, performances, photography, live appearances...
1983 employee of the natural science department Leybold
1984 from here self-study art and art history
1985 first works in oil
1986/87 various exhibitions and concerts
1988 studio guitarist for various productions.
1989 Founding of the studio for sound design "Tonehunter"
1996 - 2019 Various music projects, including two gold awards from the Music Academy, many concerts and exhibitions at home and abroad.
2020 Emigration to the Netherlands. Now exclusive engagement with painting.
2021 first art exhibitions in the Netherlands and Germany
